Who we are
Kalkulo.eu is an informational website offering free financial calculators for several European countries. This policy describes what data we collect when you visit the site and how we process it.
What data we collect
- Anonymous browsing data collected by Google Analytics 4 (GA4): pages visited, duration, device type, approximate geographic location (city level). Your IP address is anonymised before processing.
- Data you enter yourself into a calculator, or into the "Save a note for yourself" field on a calculator page. Calculations run in your browser. The email you type into the "Save a note for yourself" field is written only to your own browser's local storage, so the page can show it back to you. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we never receive it.
Cookies and consent
We use our own first-party consent banner together with Google's Consent Mode v2. On your first visit, you'll see a banner with two options:
- Essential only: only cookies necessary for the site to function. Analytics is not loaded.
- Accept all: enables analytics cookies (GA4).
We show no advertising, so we never ask for advertising consent and no ad network or ad-measurement script is loaded.
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

We share data with the following providers only when you accept all cookies:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics). Privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (site hosting). Privacy policy.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify or erase your data
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Restrict processing
- Withdraw consent at any time

You can also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months (GA4 default setting). Entries from the "Save a note for yourself" field stay in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, so there is nothing on our side to delete. Clear this site's data in your browser to remove them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or technical changes. The last updated date is shown at the top of the document.
